NAISA Conference 2022

NAISA Conference 2022 was an opportunity for academics and scholars who are studying or interested in Critical Indigenous Studies and related disciplines to engage with emerging and leading scholars.

The conference featured 60 papers across the two days (both in-person and online).

The University of Queensland (UQ) was proud to host the annual Native American Indigenous Studies Association (NAISA) Conference 2022 - Regional Gathering, Brisbane, with the theme Indigenous Futures and Sustaining Liveliness.

The conference was held from 29-31 May 2022 at UQ's Customs House in Meanjin (Brisbane), attracting 80 world-leading academics from New Zealand, America, Canada and Australia.
