Orientation, also known as O-Week, is the official start to university for new students and is held the week before classes start. We encourage you to attend your compulsory Faculty orientation during O-Week.
What to expect
You will:
receive a welcome pack
meet other Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students studying at UQ
meet ATSISU staff and your Student Success team.
have the opportunity to sign-up for our free tutoring program, ITAR
learn about scholarships, financial support and other important programs.
ATSISU is also offering new students a chance to register for a one-to-one ‘Getting Started’ appointment with a member of our Student Success team during O-Week and the first week of the semester.
Book an appointment for an introduction to all that the ATSIS Unit has to offer and for help on your learning journey. Appointments are available in-person or online.
