The UQ Indigenous Engagement Outreach and Engagement Team, together with the Student Success Team from the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Studies Unit, were excited recently to present to trainees and chefs from the Northern Territory on pathways to university.

The trainees and chefs are working for Karen Sheldon Catering in the native foods space. They had been hosted for the week by the Centre for Nutrition and Food Sciences at UQ's Queensland Alliance for Agriculture and Food Innovation (QAAFI).
Karen Sheldon Catering are one of QAAFI’s funding partners.
The Indigenous Engagement teams were able to expose the visiting group to the many possibilities available at UQ.
One of the members of the group, Earl, said “I learnt that you are never too old to study”.
